BEND, OR -- Bend Police are asking for the public's help in locating 57-year-old Bernard (Bernie) Paul Crisman. He hasn't been seen since he left his home on NE Wells Acres Road at about 3 p.m., Friday.

Crisman lived in an adult nursing home, but would come and go as he pleased; however, it is unusual for him to not return or check-in by phone. He is also an insulin dependent Diabetic and left home without his medication and with little money.

Police say his mountain bike was found on Sunday along the COID canal east of NE Boyd Acres Road. He was last seen wearing a green shirt that says "Alaska" on the front. Crisman is known to frequent Northside Tavern and Mavericks in Bend.
