PRINEVILLE, OR -- Two people were killed in a weekend crash about 20 miles southwest of Prineville. Crook County deputies and State Police responded to Reservoir Road just before 2:30 a.m. Saturday.
Investigators say the driver failed to negotiate a curve and the car rolled several times, throwing all five people from the vehicle. No one appears to have been wearing a seatbelt.
Three people were taken to St. Charles Bend with serious injuries. Law enforcement then found two other males deceased at the scene. The investigation is ongoing; alcohol and speed are believed to factors in the crash.
