Marijuana Legalization Measure On November

(Salem, OR)  --  Oregon voters will decide this fall whether to legalize the use of recreational marijuana among adults age 21 and older.  The "Portland Tribune" reports the state Elections Division has confirmed the initiative has gathered enough signatures to be placed on the November 4th ballot.  Under the measure, the Oregon Liquor Control Commission would be in charge of regulating and setting tax rules for the marijuana industry.  Governor John Kitzhaber says he won't vote for the measure but believes "legalization of marijuana is inevitable in this state."
