Grocery Store Employee Gets Four Years For Stealing $230K

(Portland, OR)  --  A former Fred Meyer employee is facing four years behind bars for stealing nearly 230-thousand dollars from self-checkout machines.  A judge sentenced Emily Tallman yesterday in Multnomah County.  She was also ordered to pay back all of the money she stole.  Court documents say she stole the money over the course of five months while working as a loss prevention officer at the Gateway Fred Meyer in Portland.
