ZERO Fleet Rebate Program

(Salem, OR) -- Oregon's ZERO Fleet Rebate Program has allocated all 17-million-dollars to help buy zero emission vehicles. Businesses, nonprofits and government agencies were eligible for the money. One-hundred-and-fifty vehicles are being purchased. It includes 90 heavy-duty vehicles, like garbage trucks, big rigs and school buses, and more than 60 cargo and utility box vans. Sixty percent of the funding goes to organizations that travel in communities disproportionately affected by diesel pollution.
