Police Say OR Quintuple Homicide Was Premeditated
(Hillsboro, OR) -- New details are coming to light regarding the murders of three generations of family members in the Portland area by a man who was later found dead in Washington state. The Washington County Sheriff's Office says the five victims were shot multiple times in what police are calling a premeditated murder. Neighbors heard gunshots Friday night and Saturday morning, and firefighters found the victims' bodies while responding to a car fire. Police say the suspect Benjamin Parker would get into heated arguments. He was bipolar and investigators found medications with his name at the property. Police say Parker drove to Enumclaw, Washington, where his vehicle ran out of gas and he called his mother to admit to the killings. He was found dead in his vehicle from an apparent suicide Sunday.
