(Portland, OR) -- A man is facing charges in connection with a sexual assault in Portland. Thirty-six-year-old Anthony Hardy has been charged on multiple counts, including sodomy and assault. Police say the charges stem from Tuesday afternoon, when officers responded to the 22-hundred-block of North Albina Avenue where a woman claimed she had been sexually assaulted. She told police that she stabbed the suspect during the alleged assault. Police searched the area and found Hardy, who had a non-life-threatening stab wound. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment and later transported to the Multnomah County Jail.
