Category: State News
(Vancouver, WA) -- Police in Southwest Washington say they've arrested four men in connection with a kidnapping in Vancouver. A woman called 9-1-1 Wednesday to report her husband had been kidnapped in Portland by four men in a black Suburban. They asked if he wanted to make some money by cashing a check for them. He agreed, but after getting into the vehicle, he was worried about his safety and asked to get out. They wouldn't let him leave and drove to Vancouver. He told his wife where he was and police pulled the vehicle over. The victim was located walking a short distance away. The four suspects are charged with second-degree kidnapping.
