(Pasadena, CA)  --  The sixth-ranked Oregon are preparing to meet the eight-ranked Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl tomorrow in Pasadena, California.  The game pits two of the stingiest defenses in terms of points, as the Ducks allowed the 15.7 points per game, good for ninth in the country, while Wisconsin was 10th at 16.1 points per game.  Keying the Oregon success was their run defense, which allowed just more than 106 rushing yards per game.  That will be put to the test against Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor, who is  91 yards shy of 2,000 for the season. 

(Portland, OR)  -- Damian Lillard scored 33 points but the Trail Blazers fell 122-116 to the Suns at the Moda Center.  CJ McCollum scored 25 points. while Hassan Whiteside had 16 points and 22 rebounds.  Portland is 14-and-20 and has lost four-straight.  The Blazers tip off a five-game trip tomorrow against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.

(Renton, WA)  --  Injuries are hitting the Seahawks at the wrong time of the year as Mychal Hendricks tore his ACL in Sunday's loss to the Niners and is done for the year.  Head coach Pete Carroll also said wide receiver Jaron Brown has a knee injury that will keep him out a couple of weeks.  The coach said he'd like to have Hendricks back next season, though the linebacker is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent.  His availability is also in question as he heads towards sentencing and potential prison time for his role in an insider trading case. 

(Undated)  --  Elsewhere in college basketball, the Vikings lost 83-81 at home to Southern Utah, despite 25 points from Holland Woods.  Portland State drops to 7-and-7.  On Thursday, the Portland Pilots will host number-one Gonzaga, while Portland State will visit Idaho.

(Eugene, OR)  --  The latest coaches poll is out and the Ducks are up one spot to number six in the country with an 11-and-2 record.  Oregon will start conference play Thursday when it visits Colorado in Boulder.  The Beavers will tip off their Pac-12 slate on Thursday against Utah in Salt Lake City.

(Renton, WA)  --  There was some good news on the injury front for Seattle, though.  Head coach Pete Carroll said he's optimistic safety Quandre Diggs will be back for the Seahawks' game against the Eagles Sunday in Philadelphia.  Diggs has missed the last two games with a high ankle sprain.  He has three interceptions, including a pick six against the Rams December 8th. 

(Portland, OR)  --  The Trail Blazers will be back in action tonight as they take on the Phoenix Suns at the Moda Center.  Portland has lost three-straight, including to the Lakers Saturday at home.  They'll kick off a five-game road trip New Years Day when they take on the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.  The Blazers are 14-and-19 on the season. 

(Corvallis, OR)  --  Ethan Thompson scored 25 points, including eight-for-eight from the line, as the Beavers downed North Dakota 83-66 in Corvallis.  Tres Tinkle had 16 points while Kylor Kelley added 14 points in the win, moving Oregon State to 10-and-2 and 7-and-0 at home.  State will pick up Pac-12 play in the new year Thursday when they visit Utah. 

(Eugene, OR)  --  Chris Duarte scored 31 points as number-seven Oregon pounded Alabama State 98-59 in Eugene.  Anthony Mathis scored 15 points while Addison Patterson scored 12 off the bench.  The Ducks will open Pac-12 play on Thursday when they visit Colorado in Boulder. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  Following their loss against the Niners, the Seahawks earned the first wildcard spot in the NFC and will travel to Philadelphia Sunday to take on the NFC East champion Eagles.  The two teams met at Lincoln Financial Field on November 24th, with Seattle coming out on top 17-9.  In that game, Rashaad Penny ran for 129 yards and a score for the 'Hawks.  However, he won't be on the roster for the rematch as he's out for the season. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  The 49ers stuffed the Seahawks a half-yard shy of a touchdown in the final minute for a 26-21 win in Seattle.  Jacob Hollister caught the ball on the one-yard line for Seattle with nine seconds left to play, but couldn't get into the end zone.  Marshawn Lynch ran for 34 yards and a score in his first game back with the Seahawks and Russell Wilson threw for 233 yards and two scores.  Seattle finishes the regular season 11-and-5.

(Undated)  --  Elsewhere in college basketball, Portland State moved to 7-and-6 as they beat Norther Colorado 69-65 on Saturday.  They'll take on Southern Utah at home tonight.  Portland will return to action Thursday when they welcome number one Gonzaga to town. 

(Portland, OR)  --  The red-hot Trail Blazers will take on Pelicans at the Moda Center tonight.  Portland has won four-straight after beating the Timberwolves on Saturday night 113-106 thanks to 29 points from Damian Lillard.  They'll be back in action Thursday when they hit the road to face the Jazz in Utah. 
 

(Undated)  --  In college basketball, number-10 Oregon survived an upset bid by Texas Southern to win 84-78 in Eugene Saturday.  Payton Prichard scored 29 points, including eight in the final minute, while Will Richardson chipped in 18 off the bench.  The Ducks are 10-and-2.  Elsewhere Saturday, Oregon State fell to 9-and-2, losing 64-49 to Texas A&M in College Station.  Tres Tinkle scored 21 and was the only Beaver in double-figures.  Yesterday, Malcolm Porter had 11 as the Pilots fell 81-56 to Houston in Honolulu.  The local teams will be off this week for the holidays. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  Kenyan Drake rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns as the Cardinals downed the Seahawks 27-13 in Seattle.  Russell Wilson threw for 169 yards and a score for the Seahawks.  Nick Bellore caught a touchdown for Seattle, which dropped to 11-and-4.  Jason Myers hit a pair of field goals in the fourth quarter to bring the game to within one score for the 'Hawks.  Chris Carson had 40 yards rushing before leaving with an injury. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seahawks will have a chance to claim the NFC West title on Sunday night when they face the 49ers at home.  The game has been flexed to the Sunday Night game to wrap up the regular season slate.  More than the divisional title is at stake -- a home game in the playoffs is on the line and possibly even a bye. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seahawks are in desperate need of running backs -- plural.  Both Chris Carson and CJ Prosise are out for the season after suffering injuries -- Carson a hip injury and Prosise a broken arm.  Among the names being mentioned by ESPN's Field Yates are Robert Turbin, Alfred Blue, CJ Anderson and Marshawn Lynch.  In other injury news, offensive lineman Duane Brown will have knee surgery today and will, at the very least, miss Sunday's game against San Francisco.

(Portland, OR)  --  The Trail Blazers will return to the Moda Center tonight to take on the lowly Warriors.  It was only a year ago Portland met Golden State in the Western Conference Finals, but injuries have ravaged both teams, leaving the Bay-Area club battling for the number-one pick.  The Blazers are coming off a dramatic win over the Suns in Phoenix on Monday night.  They'll welcome the Magic to town Friday before facing the Timberwolves Saturday.

(Malibu, CA)  --  Holland Woods scored 23 points but it wasn't enough as Portland State fell 77-71 to Pepperdine in Malibu. Matt Hauser was the only other Viking in double figures as he poured in 14 points in the loss as the team fell to 5-and-6 on the year and 1-and-5 away from home.  Portland State will stay in southern California when they visit Loyola Marymount tomorrow night. 

(Undated)  --  Two Seahawks players were selected to the Pro Bowl team.  Russell Wilson and Bobby Wagner were named to the NFC squad as starters.  The 2020 game will be held at Camping World Stadium in Orlando on January 26th.

(Eugene, OR)  --  Practices are underway for the Ducks ahead of the Rose Bowl.  Oregon will meet 10-and-3 Wisconsin New Years Day at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California.  The Badgers were the Big Ten runners up, losing to Ohio State in the conference championship game.  The Ducks beat Utah in the Pac 12 title game. 

(San Antonio, TX)  --  Oregon State will be on the road tonight when they visit UTSA.  Oregon State is 8-and-1 on the season.  Also in action, Portland, which is 8-and-3 on the year, will host Jackson State tomorrow night.

(Portland, OR)  --  Diego Valeri will indeed be back in Timber green in 2020.  The club announced Monday they had re-signed the Argentinian to a multi-year extension using Targeted Allocation Money.  His future in Portland was in doubt after the two sides had reached an impasse during contract negotiations last year.  By using the targeted funds, and with the departure of Brian Fernandez, the club now has room for two designated player spots.  He had eight goals and 16 assists last season.

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  Damian Lillard's three-point play with 26 seconds left lifted the Trail Blazers to a 111-110 win over the Suns in Phoenix.  CJ McCollum had a game-high 30 points and Lillard finished with 27 in the win.  Portland has won two-of-three.  The Blazers return home for a spell as they host the Warriors tomorrow night.

(Portland, OR)  --  Isaiah White scored 19 points as the Pilots beat Florida A&M 66-60 in Portland.  Takiula Fahrensohn added 15 points and Chase Adams had 11 for Portland who moved to 8-and-3 with the win.  They'll host Jackson State Thursday night.

(Renton, WA)  --  Josh Gordon is suspended indefinitely for again violating the NFL's performance-enhancing drug and substance abuse policies.  The Seahawks wide receiver has been suspended six times for violating the league's drug policy and has missed two full seasons.  He played Sunday against the Carolina Panthers and had seven receptions for 139 yards in five games with Seattle after beginning the season with New England.  In six NFL seasons he has played with the Browns, Patriots and Seahawks.

(Malibu, CA)  --  Portland State will be in southern California to take on Pepperdine.  The Vikings are 5-and-5.  Meanwhile, Number-8 Oregon hosts Montana and Oregon State will be on the road on tomorrow night visiting UTSA .  Oregon State is 8-and-1 on the season.

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seahawks will again return to the Pacific time zone this weekend to host the Arizona Cardinals.  Seattle is in the driver's seat for the NFC's top spot, as they'll also host the 49ers in the final game of the season December 29th.  The 'Hawks are 11-and-3 this season and hold the tie-breaker over San Francisco after their November 11th win in Santa Clara.

(Renton, WA)  --  Jadeveon Clowney is feeling better, but Pete Carroll won't commit to saying he'll play Sunday.  He, along with Luke Willson, Mychal Kendricks and Shaquill Griffin all missed Sunday's game.  Meanwhile, the head coach said Bobby Wagner is "feeling pretty good" and is "pretty determined about playing." He described Wagner's sprained ankle as less severe than that of Quandre Diggs. Both were injured Sunday and didn't return. Diggs has a high ankle sprain.

(Ann Arbor, MI)  --  The 13th-ranked Ducks basketball team picked up a big win on Saturday.  Payton Pritchard scored 23 points to lead the Ducks to a 71-70 win at number-seven Michigan in overtime.  Anthony Mathis added 19 points for Oregon, which improved to 8-and-2.

(Phoenix, AZ)  --  On the hardwood, the Trail Blazers will visit the Phoenix Suns tonight.  Portland hasn't been in action since a 114-99 loss at the Nuggets on Thursday.  The Trail Blazers are 10-and-16.

(Charlotte, NC)  --  Chris Carson rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns as the Seahawks soared over the Panthers 30-24 in Charlotte.  Russell Wilson threw for 286 yards and two scores to DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett as Seattle bounced back from last week's loss to get to 11-and-3 and officially clinch a playoff berth.  Seattle will host the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday.

(San Antonio, TX)  --  Oregon State will be on the road on Wednesday.  The Beavers will visit UTSA on Wednesday.  Oregon State is 8-and-1 on the season.

(Atlanta, GA)  --  The Oregon Ducks took home a little hardware at the College Football Awards in Atlanta.  Offensive lineman Penei Sewell won the Outland Trophy for Best Interior lineman.  Sewell was part of an offensive front that helped protect quarterback Justin Herbert this season.  Herbert was the recipient of the William V. Campbell Trophy, which is the Academic Heisman award.

(Denver, CO)  --  Hassan Whiteside scored 33 points but the Trail Blazers fell 114-99 to the Nuggets in Denver.  Carmelo Anthony added 20 in the loss.  Portland drops to 10-and-16 on the season.  The Trail Blazers will visit the Suns on Monday.

(Undated)  --  A former Seahawk is in the news for the wrong reasons.  Etric Pruitt is one of 10 former players who have been charged with defrauding the league's health care program.  Pruitt and the others allegedly targeted the reimbursement account plan, which provides tax-free reimbursement for out-of-pocket medical expenses not covered by insurance.  The players allegedly submitted four-million-dollars in false claims that paid out over 3.4-million-dollars.

(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks have announced their 2019 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.  Seattle has nominated linebacker Bobby Wagner.  The award recognizes excellence off the field as well as on it.  The award will be given out at the NFL Honors during the weekend of the Super Bowl.

(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks continue to get their work in ahead of Sunday's road contest against the Panthers.  Seattle is looking to make a push for the NFC West crown at 10-and-3.  The Seahawks are a game back of the 49ers, who are 11-and-2.  Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney missed his second straight day of practice as he battles illness and a core injury.  Left tackle Duane Brown also was out as he battles a knee and biceps injury.

(San Diego, CA)  --  The Mariners made a minor move as the winter meetings in San Diego wrapped up.  Seattle acquired pitcher Yohan Ramirez from the Astros in the Rule Five Draft.  Ramirez is a hard throwing right hander that split time between High-A and Double-A this season.

(Las Vegas, NV)  --  Oregon offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo is moving on.  Arroyo has accepted the head coaching position at UNLV.  He had been with Oregon since 2017.

(Denver, CO)  --  The Trail Blazers are back in action tonight.  Portland will visit the Denver Nuggets.  Portland is looking to build some momentum after defeating the Knicks 115-87 at home on Tuesday.  The Trail Blazers are 10-and-15.

(San Diego, CA)  --  The Winter meetings are wrapping up in San Diego today.  The Rule Five draft will take place today.  It's been an active winter meetings with many of the league's top free agents landing new deals.  The Mariners are expected to remain active into the offseason as they look to rebuild their roster.

(New York, NY)  --  The Ducks quarterback may not be a finalist for the Campbell Trophy's more famous nickname, but Justin Herbert took home the "academic Heisman," on Tuesday.  He beat out 11 other finalists to take home the award presented annually to the nation's top scholar-athlete in college football.  Herbert's 4.01 GPA was highest amoung the other 12 finalists.  He'll also receive a postgraduate scholarship of 25-thousand dollars.

(Undated)  --  With a litany of injuries to the front court, the Trail Blazers could definitely be in the market for some help.  And according to Kevin O'Connor of The Ringer, a particular local could be in the market to help them.  O'Connor reported Tuesday that the Cavs' Kevin Love would "prefer" to play in Portland, making for a homecoming of the former Lake Oswego High School Star.  He's in the first year of a four-year, 120-million-dollar deal.  However, as O'Connor writes, Portland could offer the expiring deals of Hassan Whiteside at 27.1 million or Kent Bazemore at 19.3 million in a potential blockbuster. 

(Renton, WA)  -- The Seahawks will look back to their winning ways as they travel across the country for the fifth time this season and face the Panthers in Charlotte Sunday.  They're coming off a 28-12 loss to the Rams in LA on Sunday Night Football, which snapped their five-game winning streak and knocked them back to 10-and-3 and into the top Wild Card spot.  The last two games of the season are home games against the Cardinals and 49ers.

(San Diego, CA)  --  The hot name on Jerry Dipoto's phone during the Winter Meetings continues to be, for another offseason, Mitch Haniger.  He admitted that Haniger, along with the catchers, are who other teams inquire about the most with him.  As per a report in the ARizona Republic, the Diamondbacks have checked in on bringing Haniger back, a player they've coveted, even after they traded him to Seattle for Ketel Marte and Taijuan Walker.

(Portland, OR)  --  The Trail Blazers will look to get back to winning as they host the Knicks tonight.  They have lost back-to-back games, including falling to the Thunder on Sunday night, despite 26 points from Damian Lillard.  They'll hit the road Thursday and visit Denver.

(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks were dealt a major blow when they found out Rashaad Penny would miss the rest of the season.  The second-year running back tore his left ACL during Sunday night's loss to the Rams in Los Angeles.  He had seen an increase in play over the past two weeks, playing 65 offensive snaps to Chris Carson's 70, and reaped the benefits -- running for 236 yards and three touchdowns on 33 touches.  The 'Hawks will be in Charlotte Sunday to face the Panthers. 

(Undated)  --  Less than a week after being named the FIFA women's soccer player of the year, Megan Rapinoe [[ ruh-PEE-no ]] is being named Sports Illustrated's Sportsperson of the Year.  Rapinoe was one of the co-captains on the United States team that won the Women's World Cup in France this past summer and made waves for prodding President Donald Trump and standing with former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick.  Prior to the World Cup, she and her teammates sued the U.S. Soccer Federation for pay discrimination against women.  Rapinoe is the fourth woman to be individually named Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year in the 66-year history of the title, appearing on the magazine's cover with purple hair and a sledgehammer.

(San Diego, CA)  --  The baseball winter meetings are underway in San Diego.  Action across the league is expected to heat up on both the free agent and trade market this week as executives get together.

(Portland, OR)  --  Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Dennis Schroder each scored 21 points as the Thunder cruised to a 108-96 win over the Trail Blazers at the Moda Center.  Damian Lillard led Portland with 26 points.  C.J. McCollum chipped in 20 in the setback for the Trail Blazers, who have lost three of four.  Portland will be home for the Knicks tomorrow night. 

(Undated)  --  In college basketball, the Ducks cruised to an 89-64 win over Hawaii in Eugene Saturday to snap their two-game slide.  Payton Pritchard had 20 points and 11 assists while Justin Webster added 12 points.  Also Saturday, Portland fell 73-71 to Seattle in Kent, Washington.  Isaiah White had a team-high 18 points for the Pilots as they fell to 6-and-3 in the loss. 

(Eugene, OR)  --  The Ducks have known since Friday they were going to the Rose Bowl as the Pac-12 Champions -- now, they know who their date is.  Oregon will face off with Wisconsin on New Year's Day in Pasadena, California.  Wisconsin won the Big-10 West, but lost to Ohio State in the conference championship game.  However, with the Buckeyes advancing to the College Football Playoff, that leaves the Badgers as the highest ranking Big 10 team remaining.

(Los Angeles, CA)  --   The Rams kept the Seahawks' offense out of the end zone as they earned a 28-12 win in Los Angeles on Sunday Night Football.  Russell Wilson passed for 245 yards and an interception in defeat for Seattle.  Quandre Diggs recorded two interceptions, and returned one 55 yards for the Seahawks' only touchdown.  Seattle dropped to 10-and-3 and fell to second place in the NFC West behind 11-and-2 San Francisco.  The 'Hawks will visit the Panthers on Sunday. 

(Santa Clara)  --  Number-13 Oregon has a chance to claim conference glory tonight.  The Ducks will face off with fifth-ranked Utah for the Pac-12 Championship in Santa Clara.  The Ducks are 10-and-2 coming into the game.  Utah is 11-and-1.

(Portland, OR)  --  On the hardwood, the Trail Blazers will host the West-leading Los Angeles Lakers tonight.  Portland is coming off a 127-116 win at home over the Kings on Wednesday.  The Trail Blazers 9-and-13.

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners continue to make moves.  Seattle has shipped catcher Omar Narvaez to the Milwaukee Brewers.  In exchange, the Mariners will receive minor league pitcher Adam Hill and a competitive balance Round B draft pick.  Narvaez hit .278 with 22 home runs for Seattle this past season.

(Santa Clara, CA)  --  Number-13 Oregon will compete for the Pac-12 crown tomorrow.  The Ducks will take on number-five Utah in the Pac-12 Championship Game in Santa Clara.  A win would give Oregon the crown and likely a spot in the Rose Bowl.  The Ducks could still get in the Rose Bowl if they lose should the Utes make the College Football Playoff.

(Portland, OR)  --  In college basketball, Portland will face off with Cal-State Northridge tonight.  Portland State will face the Matadors Friday. 

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  In an interview that aired on ESPN Tuesday, Carmelo Anthony told Rachel Nichols that if the Portland Trail Blazers hadn't called and offered him a spot, he was prepared to walk away from the NBA.  "I had prepared myself to kinda just walk away from the game -- if the right situation didn't come about," he said.  Anthony was named the Western Conference Player of the Week on Monday and is averaging 17.7 points a game since joining the team Nov. 19.

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  Paul George scored 25 points as the Clippers downed the Trail Blazers 117-97 at the Staples Center.  CJ McCollum had 20 points while Hassan Whiteside had 18 points and 13 rebounds in the loss, snapping Portland's three-game winning streak.  Damian Lillard had 16 points and seven assists in the loss.  The Blazers will be back in Portland tonight to face the Kings in the first of a four-game homestand.

(Corvallis, OR)  --  Oregon State's Isaiah Hodgins is declaring for the NFL Draft.  The junior wide out caught 86 passes for just under 12-hundred yards and 13 touchdowns this past season.  He ranks second in school history for career touchdowns with 20, sixth with eight career 100-yard receiving games and seventh in receiving yards. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  The XFL's Seattle Dragons unveiled their uniforms for the upcoming season at a press conference Tuesday.  The helmet is white with a green dragon and an orange stripe down the middle while the home jersey and pants are navy and the road uniform is white with orange numbers.  The team's first game is February 8th against the DC Guardians. 

(Portland, OR)  --  Trail Blazers forward Carmelo Anthony is the Western Conference Player of the Week.  Anthony averaged 22.3 points and 7.7 rebounds for Portland, which went 3-and-0 last week.  Anthony has been with the Blazers for less than a month after having not played in an NBA game since last November.  The 35-year-old had not been named Player of the Week since 2014 with the New York Knicks. 

(Los Angeles, CA)  --  The Trail Blazers have won three-straight and are making their way back to 500 and 8-and-12.  They'll hit the road tonight when they visit the Clippers at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.  They'll return home Wednesday to face the Kings, their first of four-straight at the Moda Center.

(Paris)  --  An American soccer star is being named the women's best player in the world.  Megan Rapinoe [[ ruh-pee-NO ]] took home the 2019 women's Ballon d'Or trophy during a ceremony Monday in Paris.  The 34-year-old also beat out her teammate Alex Morgan for the prestigious award.  Rapinoe helped guide the Americans to another World Cup victory this summer, scoring six goals and being the tournament's top player.

(Seattle, WA)  --  Russell Wilson threw for 240 yards and two touchdowns as the Seahawks held off the Vikings 37-30 on Monday Night Football in Seattle.  Chris Carson ran for 102 yards and a TD, while Rashaad Penny had both a rushing and receiving touchdown for the Seahawks, who led 34-17 early in the fourth quarter.  Seattle is tied with San Francisco atop the NFC West at 10-and-2, but currently owns the tiebreaker.  Kirk Cousins passed for 276 yards, two TD's and an interception for Minnesota, which is now a game behind Green Bay in the NFC North at 8-and-4.  Dalvin Cook ran for a score but also lost a fumble and left the game with a shoulder injury.  He finished with 29 yards on nine carries.

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners have cut bait with two key contributors from 2019.  The team did not offer contracts to either outfielder Domingo Santana or Tim Beckham, making them unrestricted free agents.  Santana hit 21 homers and 61 RBI in 121 games last year while Beckham, a former number one overall pick, hit 15 homers in 88 games.

(Corvallis, OR)  --  Tres Tinkle scored 26 points as the Beavers beat the Vikings 81-76 in Corvallis.  Ethan Thompson had 18 points and Zach Reichle had 16 as Oregon State ran its winning streak to five.  Holland Woods had 23 points and seven rebounds for Portland State in the loss, which fell to 3-and-6.  The Vikings are off until Friday when they'll face Cal State Northridge at home.  The Beavers are off until December 14th when they'll host Arkansas Pine Bluff. 

(Eugene, OR)  --  The Ducks cruised to victory against the Beavers in the Civil War Saturday 24-10 at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.  Justin Herbert threw for 174 yards and a score and Mykael Wright returned a first-quarter kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown to spark Oregon.  Jemar Jefferson had 81 yards on the ground and a touchdown for State.  The Ducks will face off with number six Utah in the Pac 12 championship game Friday in Santa Clara, California. Pre-game at 3:00 p.m., kick-off at 5:00 p.m. 

At 5-and-7, the Beavers' season is over.

(Undated)  --  Elsewhere in college basketball, Portland beat Incarnate Word 65-56 behind 15 points from Jojo Walker.  They'll face off with Cal-State Northridge on Wednesday.  Oregon, who dropped its first two games of the season to number seven Gonzaga and number four North Carolina in the Bahamas is off until Saturday when it'll face Hawaii in Eugene. 

(Saint Thomas, Virgin Islands)  --  The number one Ducks took their first loss of the season, falling 72-62 to number nine Louisville in the Paradise Jam in the Virgin Islands Saturday.  Kylee Shook scored 18 points and had 15 rebounds in the loss as Sabrina Ionescu had just 13 in the loss. 

(Seattle, WA)  --  Two of the NFC's top teams will meet in Seattle as the Seahawks host the Vikings on Monday Night Football.  The 'Hawks come in with a 9-and-2 record, winners of their last four, thanks in large part to the play of Russell Wilson.  The Seattle quarterback has thrown 24 touchdowns to just three interceptions this year, placing him second in quarterback rating across the league.  The Seahawks also rank fifth in the league, averaging more than 385 yards per game of total offense.

(Fairfield, CT)  --  Sacred Heart sophomore guard Cameron Parker is now the record-holder for the most assists in a game by a Division-One player.  Parker recorded 24 assists in Sacred Heart's 101-57 win over Division-Three Pine Manor on Sunday.  Parker played his high school ball at Jesuit High School in Portland.  He scored zero points, but added seven rebounds and four steals for the Pioneers.  The previous record was 22 assists, which was reached by four players.
